The NWCOA Bat Standards Certified course is offered by NWCOA to aid in the survival and future of bats in North America, as well as to educate those who perform bat exclusion services in residential and commercial structures. The Bat Standards Certified Course (Part 1) covers bat biology (little brown, big brown, free-tailed, and pallid bats), bat behavior, bat identification, bat morphology, service agreement language for bat removal and guano removal, seasonal restrictions, inspection techniques, equipment, safety, detailed exclusion techniques, job pricing, decontamination techniques, rabies, bat handling, updated white-nose syndrome information, and much more.

This course training course is taught by Certified NWCOA Instructors. Upon completion of this course and successful passing of a test, the WCO will become NWCOA Bat Standards Certified for a term of five years. Successful students will also receive a certificate of completion and have use of the logo mark in marketing materials.

Pesticide CEU credits have been approved for the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia. Additional states will be added as they are approved.

This course has also been approved for Wildlife CEU's in the following states: Virginia and Oregon.

If you are in need of pesticide CEUs, you must upload a picture of yourself as well as a picture of your photo identification in the registration form. 

Please note: if files are not uploaded, you may not be eligible to receive Pesticide CEU credits from your state. (*not all states have approved CEU credits)
